Do I Have an Emergency?

If your pet has any of the following conditions, immediate veterinary attention may be required:
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Blue, pale or white gums
  • Bloated or swollen abdomen
  • Unproductive or excessive vomiting
  • Open wounds
  • Hit by car or any major trauma 
  • Uncontrolled bleeding
  • Weakness, staggering
  • Loss of consciousness or collapse
  • Seizures, tremors
  • Inability to walk or get up
  • Sudden inability to use limb(s)
  • Severe pain
  • Difficulty delivering puppies or kittens
  • Inability to urinate/defecate
  • Bloody vomiting or diarrhea
  • Ingestion of medication, poison, chemical or foreign object
