- Difficulty breathing
- Blue, pale or white gums
- Bloated or swollen abdomen
- Unproductive or excessive vomiting
- Open wounds
- Hit by car or any major trauma
- Uncontrolled bleeding
- Weakness, staggering
- Loss of consciousness or collapse
- Seizures, tremors
- Inability to walk or get up
- Sudden inability to use limb(s)
- Severe pain
- Difficulty delivering puppies or kittens
- Inability to urinate/defecate
- Bloody vomiting or diarrhea
- Ingestion of medication, poison, chemical or foreign object
